Separation

This is an example of how content can be displayed in an eLearning programme to prevent cognitive overload. It has been designed using Articulate Storyline 360 to facilitate learning so that knowledge can be retained long-term.

Depending on how complex the content is, I can deliver eLearning content that has varied intervals between repetitions, depending on the content and audience. This form of microlearning is the best way for spaced repetition. This is great for in-house training where you want to deliver training to employees in small, digestible chunks of information over time. Content is ‘dripped’ to slow down or speed up the process of sending the information to help control the time and flow and generate a sense of curiosity. This type of learning is most useful for learners trying to learn a new skill.
